Cleveland Cavaliers vs Chicago Bulls Betting Preview | News Article by Inspin.com

The Cleveland Cavaliers will make the short trek to Chicago to face the Bulls at the United Center. The Cavaliers are having a solid season and sitting in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

They could inch closer to the third place spot with a victory but risk falling into fifth with a loss. The Bulls are sitting outside the playoff picture at 15-19, but there is still plenty of time to turn it around.

They are playing shorthanded and missing a handful of players but will be dangerous when they are healthy.

The Cavaliers are on a three-game losing streak and coming off a 135-126 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Cleveland led at halftime but could not hold their lead in the second half.

Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 28 points. He shot well from deep and went 5-11 from behind the three-point line. Cleveland shot well but struggled defensively and allowed the Pacers to make over 61% of their three-point attempts.

The Bulls are coming off an impressive 119-113 overtime victory against the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls hung around with the Bucks for all four quarters and outscored them 13-7 in overtime.

DeMar DeRozan had an outstanding game and finished with 42 points on 15-25 shooting. He also had ten rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks. Zach LaVine also had 24 points, and Nikola Vuceviv had 15 points and 14 rebounds. Neither team shot particularly well, but the Bulls were much more productive.

The odds are not out for this game, but I would assume the Cavaliers are the favorites. However, I would bet on the Bulls. The Bulls have momentum from their impressive overtime win against the Bucks and have home-court advantage.

In case that is not convincing enough, the Cavaliers are slumping a little bit and on a three-game losing streak.

Do not underestimate this Bulls squad. They may be playing shorthanded, but they can battle with the best of them. Not only have they beaten the Bucks (twice), but they have also emerged victorious against the Jazz, Celtics (twice), and Nets. Chicago often rises to the occasion and beats the NBA’s better teams. Bet on them.

My Prediction: Bulls 115, Cavaliers 111
